On May 13, 2024, the 6th meeting of the 5th Council of the Shanghai Fitness and Bodybuilding Association was successfully held at the Shanghai headquarters of WNQ. Seventeen council members attended the meeting.
Before the meeting, Liu Yanxiong, Chairman of WNQ, and Liu Hengda, Executive Vice President, led the council members on a tour of the showroom and factory to further understand the company's development history and product research and development, gain a deeper understanding of the company's product production process and manufacturing technology, and experience the company's corporate culture and production strength firsthand.
The meeting was chaired by Sun Chong, Secretary-General of the Shanghai Fitness and Bodybuilding Association. Secretary-General Sun first reported on the work from January to April 2024, the promotion of activities in the first half of the year, and the competition and activity plans for the second half of the year. These mainly included the Yangtze River Delta University Fitness and Bodybuilding Invitational Tournament and the 2nd Shanghai Personal Training Festival. These activities not only focused on industry standardization and promoted the high-quality, high-skill, and high-quality development of professional fitness personnel, but also fully demonstrated the vitality and boundless charm of modern fitness and bodybuilding in Shanghai, a city of sports, health, and vitality.
Meanwhile, to implement the national fitness strategy, protect the legitimate rights and interests of consumers and operators, and promote the healthy development of the sports and fitness industry, the council members took turns speaking and offering numerous suggestions. Liu Yanxiong, Chairman of WNQ Wannianqing, stated that the fitness industry remains a sunrise industry, and sports and health will always be a central theme of people's lives. He emphasized the importance of industry organizations playing a positive role in regulating market behavior, optimizing business models, improving service quality, and protecting consumer rights, thereby promoting the healthy and orderly development of the city's sports and fitness industry.
In the future, WNQ Wannianqing will work hand in hand with the association and its member units to inject new momentum and vitality into the industry's innovative development, making new contributions and achieving even greater successes in building a strong sports nation and an internationally renowned sports city.
