Winter safety and fire prevention
To comprehensively enhance the fire safety awareness and emergency response capabilities of all employees and strengthen the company's safety production defenses, WNQ Wannianqing Company conducted its 2025 Winter Fire Emergency Drill for all employees on December 5th. Professional firefighters were specially invited to provide guidance for this drill, making it more professional and practical.

The alarm sounds; everyone evacuates immediately.
As the urgent alarm sounded, employees from all departments immediately evacuated according to the designated evacuation routes, bending low and proceeding in an orderly fashion to the assembly point. The command team provided guidance throughout the process, ensuring an efficient and standardized evacuation, further testing the company's emergency response capabilities.
Firefighters provide on-site instruction: How to use the equipment, and more importantly, dare to try it out!
A highlight of this drill was the on-site guidance from professional firefighters. The firefighters provided detailed explanations and demonstrations of the correct use of various firefighting equipment, including:
01 Fire extinguisher usage steps

Pick up the fire extinguisher and get to the scene quickly.

Pull out the safety pin to unlock.

Grip—Grip the nozzle and aim it at the base of the fire source.

Press down forcefully, then sweep to extinguish the fire.

02 Connection and deployment of fire hoses

Preliminary inspection: Confirm that the water hose is undamaged, the joints are free of rust, the sealing rings are intact, and clear any obstacles from the site.

Connection at both ends: Connect the interface to the fire hydrant and water gun, insert it into place and tighten it (for snap-on type, listen for a "click" sound; for threaded type, tighten 3-5 turns) to ensure a tight seal and no leakage.

Water hose deployment: In open areas, use a "rolling" throwing motion; at corners, use a "Z-shaped folding" pushing motion. Once deployed, the hose should be straight and without twisting.

Practical coordination: Two or three people work together (connecting, deploying, and holding the water gun are done simultaneously). When opening the valve, first fill the hose with a small flow of water, and then adjust it to the required pressure.

During the simulated fire scenario, employees conducted practical drills following the commands of firefighters:
Pulling the safety valve of the fire extinguisher, aiming at the base of the fire, spraying steadily... every action was completed strictly according to the standard procedure.
2 Safety Guidelines
During the training, firefighters provided one-on-one correction to employees' operating postures, effective distances, and fire-fighting angles to ensure that every employee could master the standardized actions.
3 Safety knowledge
Under the guidance of firefighters, employees practiced hands-on, moving from simply "understanding" to "being able to apply" the techniques, truly mastering the key skills for responding to initial fires. Preventing fires before they start, firefighters used real-life cases to educate everyone about easily overlooked hazards in the daily office environment, covering:

• Self-rescue and mutual rescue skills
